"Seems like there are Now Too Many obstacles that are being put in the way to even See the Dogs let alone Adopt One. We are glad that we are now getting them treatment and that they will have a forever home but proceed with caution when adopting from Hi-Tor." I am thankful that Hi-Tor has given these animals shelter and food and I understand everyone who works there are volunteers, but the lack of attentiveness towards animals' health has cost us over two thousand dollars and probably a lot of discomfort for these cats. They had also gotten our two older cats sick as well. Bringing the two new cats home has cost us thousands of dollars in vet bills. Years ago we had gotten another kitten from Hi-Tor who we were told was a girl but was actually male. We just found out from our vet that the older cat has tapeworms. The kitten we were given (we are keeping her) has a severe upper respiratory infection. My sister chose the kitten and when we opened the carrier at home we realized that they had given us the wrong kitten. We brought home two cats, a kitten and an older cat as well. "I hate leaving this review because it hurts me to deter anyone from adopting these animals who are in need of loving homes, but my family has had multiple horrendous experiences with Hi-Tor. ….oh and Hope for Paws & more….Miss all you all….Miss Tabs the most." I volunteered time and found and love Tiger& Tabs. Be Kind People, because there are so many good hearts waiting. Emotions fly, but if some could put more time and understanding, you would get it.I’d Love to be back, but moved to Virginia. Spend a week volunteering, then a few years.

Well Tabs left me), Tiger is happy, and the whining from some of you make me ILL.
